01
Getting started
General information is a starting point, not personal advice or a decision about eligibility.
How do I get started with ASIREM?
Choose the service closest to your question, then contact the team or request a consultation. Phone, video and in-person options are advertised; confirm the format and availability directly.
A public inquiry needs only your contact details, service and a general request. Do not send SSNs, financial account information, medical records, tax files or immigration documents. Ask about the approved secure intake if records are needed.
What should I leave out of a public inquiry?
Leave out SSNs, financial account information, medical records, tax files and immigration documents. A public inquiry needs only your contact details, the service and a general request. Ask the team about the approved secure intake if records are needed.
02
Life Insurance & annuities
Coverage, underwriting and annuity terms vary. Ask about costs, restrictions and the details of any option being considered.
What life insurance options can I ask about?
You can ask about term, whole and universal life insurance, as well as fixed and fixed-indexed annuities, which are separate contracts with an insurer. Coverage, costs and availability depend on the product and your circumstances.
What should I ask before considering an annuity?
Consider your time horizon and access to funds. Ask about the initial rate period, renewal provisions, surrender charges, withdrawal restrictions and how any guarantee works. For fixed-indexed annuities, also ask about caps, participation rates and spreads.
03
Health Insurance / Obamacare
Plan options, premiums, networks and enrollment opportunities depend on your circumstances and the applicable plan.
Why might my health insurance options differ?
Plan options, premiums, networks and any financial assistance depend on the applicable rules and your household circumstances, such as income and access to other coverage. Review the full plan details before choosing.
Can I ask about enrollment or renewing coverage?
Yes. ASIREM can discuss plan options, Open Enrollment, Special Enrollment, renewals and changes. Confirm the applicable dates and rules before acting.
04
Medicare
This information does not determine eligibility. ASIREM is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. government or federal Medicare program.
Which Medicare topics can I discuss with the team?
You can discuss Parts A and B, Medicare Advantage, Part D prescription coverage and Medigap, along with timing questions when you are turning 65, retiring or reviewing an existing plan.
Will this website tell me which plan I qualify for?
No. This website provides a starting point for questions, not an eligibility determination. Official rules and the relevant plan determine eligibility and coverage; discuss the options and requirements with the team.
05
Tax Preparation
Preparation is available for individuals, self-employed filers and businesses. Confirm the scope and approved intake before sending records.
Can I ask about individual, self-employed or business returns?
Yes. Federal and state preparation is available for individual and joint filers, self-employed filers (including Schedule C where applicable) and businesses. Discuss your situation so the team can confirm the preparation scope.
How should I share tax files with the team?
Only through the approved secure intake, after the team confirms the process. Do not send tax documents, IDs, Social Security numbers or bank information in a contact message or email.
06
Professional Tax Software
The published software offering is for professional tax preparers, not consumer self-filing. Confirm features, terms and availability directly.
Who is the professional tax software intended for?
Professional tax preparers and tax firms. It is not consumer do-it-yourself tax-filing software; individuals looking for help with a personal return should explore Tax Preparation instead.
How can I ask about software for my practice?
Use the professional software inquiry pathway with a high-level description of your team size, return mix, working model and timing. Do not include taxpayer data, client returns or account credentials.
07
Immigration Applications Preparation & Review
Assistance is document preparation and review only. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or representation. Seek qualified legal counsel for legal questions.
Does immigration assistance include legal advice?
No. ASIREM provides immigration application preparation and review assistance. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or representation.
Should I send immigration documents in my first message?
No. Do not include sensitive immigration records in a public inquiry. First ask the team what information is needed and confirm the approved secure document-sharing process.
08
Public Notary Services
Confirm the notarial act, acceptable identification, signer and witness requirements before your visit. Ask whether signing must wait until the appointment.
What should I prepare for a notary appointment?
Bring the complete document and any instructions, current photo identification, all required signers and any required witnesses. Confirm the requested notarial act with the receiving organization before your visit.
How do I confirm availability for my document?
Contact the team with your document type and the requested act, and ask about appointment or mobile availability. Location, timing and any applicable fees must be confirmed with the team.
